Why Save Your Money, When You Can Invest It??

Investing has always been the way of the kings, the difference between the rich and the wealthy. While some people are prone to spending their money, some have mastered the art of investing it. The rich they spend what they have, the wealthy invest theirs. It is what sets apart the rich from either being wealthy or being poor; are you going to spend your money or are you going to invest it? While the rich pay attention to spending on luxury such as; expensive cars, latest designers (some even buy expensive fake designers), expensive houses, high class wrist watches, a top class lifestyle and expensive relationships with their partners; the wealthy people keep looking for new ways to double their money.

Not to say that all these things are totally bad, after all nobody knows tomorrow right? So, why not enjoy everything now? We may wonder to ourselves. However, there is a time when getting all these things won't make a lot of difference to your bank account balance. A time when you can get a yacht for you and your family or build a mansion for yourself, go on expensive family vacations etc. Why eat all of your seeds now when you can sow them and reap a whole plantation (a group harvest of plants) as returns? Sounds interesting right?

Savings won't get you to this level but investing will.

"How many millionaires do you know who have become wealthy by investing in savings accounts? I rest my case." - Robert G. Allen

Not everyone actually has the bad habit of spending heavily, some don't. So what do they do? They save. Is it a bad thing? Not at all. Is it a great idea? Not so much. Wealthy people don't save their earnings, they invest them. Saving all your life earnings won't get you to a state of financial freedom but learning how to invest in the right way will  get your there - to financial freedom. Why stockpile your money in a savings account when you can put it out there (invest it) and receive double or more (in cases of very smart investments), for a 9% annual interest by your financial institution? What's a 9% interest when you can gain an ROI (Return On Investment) of up to 700%?

The truth is, for those who are better oriented, some actually want to invest but will not take the risk of putting their hard earned money out there. What if the investment fails and they lose all their money? Seeing their money breathing safely in their bank account is enough peace of mind for them. But for how long will you be hindered by your own comfort zone? The biggest risk in life is actually taking no risk at all. The world's leading people or wealthiest people didn't get to where they are by only doing what is 'safe'. They take risks and the reward of it is where they are today. Looking back, they must be glad they took all the risks they took. For how long should you allow the fear of trying prevent you from growing or to limit your growth?

“There is freedom waiting for you, On the breezes of the sky, And you ask 'What if I fall?' Oh but my darling, What if you fly?" – Erin Hanson

Okay, I want to invest. What are the investment options available to me? What is the best investment available that will guarantee good returns on my investment and minimal risk?

While the stock exchange market is great and has been for a long time, what about the risks involved? News reported sometimes in February, 2019 how investors lost $233.12 million (N84.3 billion) as the Nigeria stock market dipped by 0.69%. Lots of many other investments and some even created by private bodies who you invest your money with at an agreed interest rate and period of time while they go on to make a larger investment with all the money that people have invested in their organization - hedge funds. While some deliver, some don't.

Of all the investment options, there is one that has remained consistent. That has created more wealth to investors more than any other sector throughout history. One that only ever goes up. Stock market goes up and down. Cryptocurrency goes up and down. One that guarantees a high return on investment in a time period better than any other form of investment. That investment is called Real Estate Investment and it has continued to be a proven success.

"Ninety percent of all millionaires become so through owning real estate." - Andrew Carnegie

"Real estate investing, even on a very small scale, remains a tried and true means of building an individual's cash flow and wealth." - Robert Kiyosaki

"Buying real estate is not only the best way, the quickest way, the safest way, but the only way to become wealthy." - Marshall Field
